Camp Info
PLEASE NOTE: It is not required that a player attend Camp 1 in order to attend Camp 2 in each category. These are not progressive camps. They are individual camps and will all be different.
BASIC - these camps are meant for players that have little club playing experience, have played rec ball or who are new players. It is also great for players that may have a year or so of club but want to improve on their basics such as serving and passing. We will do a LOT of touches on both of these skills. We will also have some team play.
INTERMEDIATE - these camps are meant for those that have several years of club and some high school experience as well. These players should know how to serve overhand from behind the endline consistently, understand rotation and transitions. We will spend time on serving, passing, hitting, defenses and setting. PLEASE do not send your child to this camp if your child cannot serve or pass consistently. We will have team play at the end of each session.
ADVANCED - these camps are meant for seasoned players that understand the concepts of the high level game. We will spend very little time on the fundamentals of serving and passing. Players are expected to be able to pass a served ball consistently. We will spend more time on strategies, team play and refining all of the volleyball skills in order to get to a more elite level of play (serving, passing, hitting, blocking, setting and defense). PLEASE do not send your child to this camp if they cannot serve overhand from behind the endline consistently and cannot pass a served ball consistently. We will spend more time on team play and this will be incorporated into each session.
